I helped turn Notion into a daily work habit for Korean teams. Now I do it for AI products.

Since 2018 I’ve built the community, written the books, and taught the classes that move global tools from “interesting” to “how our team works” in Korea. If you want Korean users to adopt your product, not just download it, this is the work I do.

The track record

Notion, 2018 → today: I helped turn Notion into how Korean teams work

I started using Notion in May 2018 and immediately started building the Korean community around it. That community has grown to 39,000+ members across Facebook and Naver Cafe. Along the way I became a Notion Partner, a Notion Ambassador, a Notion Certified Consultant (2020), and a Notion consulting partner (2025), turning Notion into working systems for companies, universities, and public institutions. Today I run 1:1 setup coaching for new Korean users as a Korean expert for Notion Setup Sessions.

Books: I wrote the Korean playbook

Three books on Notion and collaboration tools, starting with my 2019 Notion guide, now in its third revised edition. A fourth, on Notion AI, ships October 2026.

Lectures: I’ve taught it to the people who actually use it

500+ lectures since 2018. 4.88/5.0 average satisfaction across 8,800+ learner reviews. More than 10,000 learners and 1,300+ hours in companies, schools, and institutions. Education is where a tool becomes a habit, and I’ve done it at scale.

Cursor, 2025 → today: I turned AI-coding hype into people shipping

Appointed Cursor Ambassador for Korea in April 2025. Since then I’ve organized Seoul’s Cursor builder events back to back: two meetups, Cursor Hackathon Seoul #1 (demand outran seats, so we ran it selectively), the Cursor-sponsored Eurekathon, and Cursor Hackathon Seoul vol.3: 166 applicants, 27 teams, with 90% of applicants joining their first-ever hackathon.

Aside, 2026: the next agent product

In September 2026 I became Aside Ambassador (Korea), working with the Aside team on Korea GTM, content, and education and publishing real Korean work automations I run myself.

The pattern: find the Korean work problem the product already solves, prove it in public, teach it until teams make it their own. Full timeline →

Why Korea launches stall, and what I do instead

Most global teams enter Korea with a translated UI and a launch post. Then usage flattens.

  • Translation without a use case. Korean users can’t yet see their own work in your product. → I build the Korean use cases.
  • Attention without adoption. One-off influencer pushes spike and fade. → I build community and education that compound.
  • No local proof. Korean teams want to see someone like them using it first. → I put that proof in front of them.
  • No feedback loop. Korean onboarding friction never reaches your product team. → I bring it back, every week.

Translation is the start line. Adoption is the work.

How an engagement works

  1. Diagnose. Who your Korean users are, which real work problems they have, and where your product wins.
  2. Localize the value. Turn features into Korean use cases. Translate the job, not the feature name.
  3. Prove it locally. Show results through content, hands-on education, and community.
  4. Close the loop. Feed friction back to your team and fix onboarding and conversion paths.
  5. Scale what works. Extend the proven flow to teams, schools, and enterprise partners.

FAQ

Is this translation or social media management?

No. I don’t translate your product, run daily social posting, or buy ads. I drive adoption: find the Korean use case, prove it, and turn early users into teams that stick.

Do you guarantee users, revenue, or press?

No. I don’t promise numbers I can’t control. You get a clear plan, local execution, and honest reporting on what’s working and what isn’t.

What do you need from us?

Product access, a decision-maker on your side, sign-off on Korean messaging, and an execution budget for things like events or content production.

Which products are a good fit?

Global AI and productivity SaaS that wants Korean individuals and teams to use it in daily work, whether you’re still evaluating Korea or already have early Korean users.

Where do we start?

Most teams start with the 3-week Strategy Sprint. If you already have a plan, we can go straight to Activation or an event.

I’ve done this for Notion and Cursor. Let’s do it for your product.

Tell me what you’re building and where you are with Korea. I’ll reply with how I’d approach it.
